We loved these cookies & required the remainder to utilize rave reviews. They are very tasty & there are numerous good ingredients. We enjoyed the additional spices. The glaze would be a nice touch although not necessary. For individuals wanting the cut the sugars, you can eliminate this task & have a tasty cookie. We did some with & some with no glaze. Wow! DH made as a present to take him to Er (blew each day of planting) - compromise cookie because he likes a particular spice cookie & I love oatmeal raisin. This is an excellent Christmas cookie not just for it's flavor speculate it keeps well. This time around I made these using chocolate coated raisins and just 1 cup of brown sugar (not packed). I additionally used the three glasses of c.sugar within the glaze. It could have been too sweet basically had used the entire quantity of br.sugar within the cookie. Rebaking for an additional 8-ten minutes brings the crisp back when they get too soft. Appreciate discussing.
