Crunchy oat and raisin cookie recipe
Ingredients
  • 3/4 pound (3 sticks) unsalted butter
  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • 1 1/8 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla flavoring
  • 3 cups folded oatmeal (not instant)
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons sodium bicarbonate
  • 1 1/2 cups raisins
Directions

Preheat the oven to 350 levels F.

Inside a mixer, cream the butter until fluffy. Add some sugars, and cream together until light and fluffy. Add some egg and vanilla and blend well.

Inside a bowl, stir together the oatmeal, flour, salt, and sodium bicarbonate. Mixing, gradually add some oat mixture towards the butter mixture and blend just until combined. Add raisins and blend just until combined.

Visit tablespoonfuls to the baking sheets, departing a minimum of 2-inches between cookies. Bake until browned and crispy round the edges, about eight to ten minutes. Let awesome on wire racks and store within an airtight container.
