Rated 3 from 5 by joli94 from Certainly Needs Something. I'm a skilled baker and located this recipe a little disappointing. The cookies weren't very flavorful. Their texture is neither crispy or cakelike, somewhere among and unremarkable. We had to frost, that we was attempting to avoid when i would be a bit tight on time.

Rated 5 from 5 by Cookie monster from So scrumptious! I made these for any picnic. I viewed another mother have a bite of her daughter's cookie and say, Oh,You have to get me one of these simple! Then she ate the remainder and yelled, Get 2! I then add almond extract instead of a few of the vanilla therefore it's about 50 % vanilla and half almond. I believe that helps to make the difference! They aren't whatsoever dry and difficult to unveil as some reviewers have stated. I don't even refrigerate the dough first.

Rated 1 from 5 by Momof3BBs from Terrible! Just made these and am unhappy together. I really like baking and bake frequently which continues to be among the worst cookie recipes I've attempted! Unhappy with the way they baked, they're bland and my two year old and college old don't even like them much, didn't request more didn't inhale them like every other dessert I've made. nothing! Waste of my ingredients and time to tell the truth! Hate to become this brutally honest however this continues to be my experience.

Rated 1 from 5 by Cookie Lady in Texas from New isn't necessarily Better - Return! It has been my go-to recipe for several years because the old recipe using Karo syrup (and a little lemon extract) makes the most wonderful cookies. This new recipe with milk creates a dough that's crumbly and never appropriate to make eliminate cookies. I'm so happy I discovered my old recipe. Crisco - might I would recommend coming back towards the old recipe that is amazing. In order to save the double batch of cookies I made while using milk, I place the mixture back to my mixing bowl and added the Karo corn syrup. It labored and that i could result in the cookies I have started to love. For individuals who would like that old recipe. The Best Sugar Cookie1 ¼ cup sugar1 cup Butter Flavor Crisco2 eggs¼ cup Karo light syrup1 tablespoons of vanilla3 cups flour¾ teaspoon baking powder½ teaspoon sodium bicarbonate½ teaspoon salt
