Best honey roasted nuts recipe

  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoons honey
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla flavoring
  • Kosher salt
  • 2 cups unsalted raw peanuts
Directions

Preheat the oven to 375 levels F having a rack positioned in the center of the oven. Gently coat a rimmed baking sheet with cooking spray.

Combine the sugar, honey, 3 tablespoons water, the vanilla and 1/2 teaspoon salt inside a large heavy-bottomed pot. Prepare over medium heat, stirring having a wooden spoon, before the sugar dissolves completely. Add some peanuts and prepare, stirring from time to time, before the mixture begins simmering, about one minute. Boost the heat to medium high and continue cooking, stirring constantly, before the sugar mixture begins to dry up and clings towards the nuts, two to four more minutes. Pour to the prepared baking sheet and spread within an even layer.

Bake the nuts before the sugar coating begins melting, about a few minutes. Continue baking, stirring from time to time, before the nuts are golden brown and glazed in spots, six to eight more minutes. Take away the baking sheet in the oven and stir the nuts to distribute the caramel. Let awesome around the baking sheet. Store, covered, at 70 degrees for approximately 7 days.
