Canned tuna recipe without mayonnaise
Ingredients
  • 4 sun-dried tomato plants
  • 1/4 red onion, minced
  • 1 (12-ounce) can solid white-colored albacore tuna in water, drained
  • 1 rib celery, chopped
  • 1/4 cup pitted nicoise olives
  • 1 tablespoon capers, rinsed
  • two tablespoons extra-virgin essential olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon finely grated lemon zest
  • Juice of just oneOr2 a lemon
  • two tablespoons chopped fresh tulsi leaves
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground pepper
  • Recommended serving: wholegrain breads or bountiful vegetables
Directions

Cover the sun's rays-dried tomato plants with warm water inside a bowl. Put aside until soft, about twenty minutes, then drain, chop, and include a medium bowl. To mellow the minced onion, soak it in cold water for ten minutes, then drain rid of it, pat dry and increase the tomato plants.

Add some tuna, breaking it into large chunks, combined with the celery. olives. and capers, and toss to mix. Add some essential olive oil, lemon zest and juice, and tulsi and toss again. Season, to taste, with pepper and salt. Serve cold, with bread or vegetables, if preferred.
