Alfredo noodles and tuna fish recipe

Lemon Caper Tuna and Noodles with Alfredo

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces extra-wide egg noodles
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 15 ounce jar light garlic clove Alfredo sauce a treadmill 10-ounce container refrigerated light Alfredo pasta sauce
  • 1 tablespoon capers, drained
  • 1 12 ounce can solid white-colored albacore tuna, drained
  • Cracked pepper and/or chives (optional)

Directions

  1. Prepare noodles based on package directions drain. Cover and warm. Finely shred lemon peel and squeeze juice from lemon put aside.
  2. Meanwhile, inside a medium saucepan combine Alfredo sauce, fresh lemon juice, and capers. Heat through.
  3. Add tuna and noodles to sauce stir lightly to mix. Go back to heat just until heated through. Top with lemon peel and, if preferred, pepper and/or chives.
