I quartered my bread and attempted to soak it before investing in slow cooker. Think it requires more eggs. Designed a half batch inside a 4 quart slow cooker (with 3 eggs) also it ended in five 1/2 hrs on low. Offered mine with two choices--apple topping or walnut syrup. Designed for Fall PAC 2011. I understand how difficult it may be to obtain eggs to prepare correctly within the slow cooker. I put this on very late into the evening in order that it wouldn't be overcooked each morning. Still 6.5 hrs afterwards low the outdoors was burnt, when i thought it may be. Unless of course someone has suggestions to improve this or prepare it more evenly. this is the only real time which makes it. I made use of a 6 qt oven having a 8 or 10 hr low setting. I'd it around the 10 hour setting.
