There exists a big breadfruit tree within our garden which provides big fruits, sometimes two times annually. The kids loved this. We usually share all of them with our neighbors. Besides preparing randayi. phodis, bhajes and talasani. I prepare these chips very frequently. They're crispy and attractive when prepared from fully developed breadfruits. The chips aren't prepared from yellow coloured ripe fruits or those that fall lower. We remove fruits making the chips. These may be stored and employed for a number of days.
Ingredients:
Breadfruit
Oil
Brine
Turmeric powder
Chilly powder or Pepper powder (optional)
Method:
Remove your skin of breadfruit. Work into pieces and immerse under water for around 10 mins to get rid of any gum.
Prepare brine with the addition of about 1 tea spn salt to a mug of water and give a little turmeric powder and it aside.
Make thin slices and deep fry them in oil. Once the chips are nearly done, give a spoonfull of brine. Fry till they're completely done. Take them off in the oil. If you would like, you are able to sprinkle chilli powder or pepper powder according to your taste. Once they get cooled, store them within an airtight container.

Exactly how should we preserve the coriander leaves for lengthy days?
Cut the thick stems, cover the leaves inside a paper towel and in fridge.

Once had these constantly after i resided in Samoa, but breadfruit is had to find in Michigan. We cut them in chunks, drenched them for ten minutes, reduce nick size, fried them in vegetable oil, drained them in writing towels and salted them for any fantastic treat.

I don’t understand what breadfruit is, however these sure look tasty. Breadfruit looks much like jackfruit and that i love jackfruit chips. I'll try to call a breadfruit, I badly would like to try this.
I'd never heard about this fruit before! guess i've been really missing out.I've got a question though, will the oil splutter after i include the brine?
