2 cake crusts
Filling:
12 medium apples &- peeled and sliced
1 cup sugar
two tablespoons flour
Crumb Topping:
2 1/2 cups flour
1 1/2 cups margarine &- cold
Prepare cake crust normally inside a 9 inch cake tin or plate.
Mix peeled and sliced apples with 1/2 cup sugar and flour inside a large bowl. Divide apples and fill two cake crusts.
Mix remaining flour and sugar inside a large bowl. Decline in margarine with pastry blender until mixture includes a crumbly texture. Cover apples with crumb mixture.
Bake at 375 levels for one hour or until small sharp knife feels no resistance.
Jennia’s Notes: Watch crumb topping has a tendency to get overdone- you may want to pay for it loosely with foil in the finish of baking.
