Pulverize the dry botanicals individually while using smaller sized jar in your blender, for those who have one. The soap is unscented, but were built with a slight odor of blueberry bread when cut (in the herbs, I suppose). I'd used a little bit of beta carotene for soft yellow color, but think it could have been better without. You could utilize a smaller amount of the botanicals and have the general effect within the finished bar. most likely could reduce by half. Should you leave the calendula petals bigger, they'd be more attractive within the bars, but I am type of grossed out by chunks of items that are extremely big when they're going swimming within the bath!
