For That Cake CRUST:
4 cups All-Purpose Flour
4 Sticks Chilled Butter reduce 1/2 inch cubes
2/3 cup Water
2 teaspoon Salt
2 tablespoon Sugar

For That Cake FILLING:

10 tablespoon Unsalted Butter
5 1/4 pound Granny Cruz Apples cored and sliced 1/8" thick
1 1/4 pound Empire Apples cored and sliced 1/8" thick
2 cups Sugar
2 teaspoon Cinnamon
5 tablespoon Bourbon or Brandy
1 teaspoon Vanilla Flavoring
Juice of just oneOr2 Lemon

To Complete:
Whites of just one Egg
1 tablespoon Granulated Sugar

1) For That FLAKY Cake CRUST: Combine water, salt, and sugar in calculating cup. Stir and put cup in fridge not less than 15 min to relax water and also to dissolve salt and sugar. If at all possible, chill mixing bowl and paddle attachment if at all possible.

2) Combine flour and butter pieces in mixing bowl. On medium speed, cut butter into flour until butter pieces are how big small pebbles. Using the mixer running, pour water in to the butter mixture. 4) For That Cake FILLING: In an exceedingly large skillet, melt butter over medium-high temperature, adding apples, sugar, and cinnamon. When apples start to sizzle, cover and lower to some simmer. Add some bourbon, prepare for an additional minute, then stir within the fresh lemon juice and vanilla flavoring and permit to awesome.
