Ten dollar dinners banana bread recipe
Ingredients
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon sodium bicarbonate
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla flavoring
  • 3 eggs, slightly beaten
  • Juice of just oneOr2 orange (about 3 tablespoons)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (1 stick), plus extra for greasing the pan, at 70 degrees
  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 3 tablespoons small choc chips
  • two tablespoons confectioners' sugar, for dusting
  • Special equipment: 1 1/2-quart glass loaf pan
Directions

Preheat the oven to 350 levels F.

Sift together the flour, sodium bicarbonate and salt inside a medium bowl. Mix together the vanilla, eggs and orange juice inside a calculating cup or normal size bowl. Cream the sugar and butter inside a medium bowl until pale yellow and fluffy, about a few minutes. Include the egg mixture and beat until creamy. Add the bananas until smooth. Pour the flour by 50 percent batches in to the batter and blend on low speed until incorporated. Stir within the choc chips having a wooden spoon. Pour right into a greased loaf pan and bake one hour, covering gently with foil when the top will get too brown. Awesome, remove in the pan and slice. Serve dusted using the confectioners' sugar
