1. Make certain in step three to cream the butter and sugar first. When the other fluids are added, it was a lumpy mess. I ought to have known easier to correct this.

2. I substituted lemon love of extract. It had not been that lemony. The icing (with similar zest substitute) was a lot more so. Unsure if we'll do this again with corrections because it wasn't so good so we wound up tossing ours out.

We've no Starbucks my home, hence I am unable to compare it using the one they've. This loaf/cake was however excellent. Good lemony taste. I required the suggestion of earlier reviewers and replaced the oil with apple sauce and baked it at 325F. Simple to make also it baked for exactly forty-five minutes. I overlooked the icing since we're not keen on (or accustomed to) icing and/ or frosting. Thank you for posting.
