Unlike what most recipes about this blog may imply, I’m not vegan.


Queso dip.

I believe it’s a terrific way to eat, and 95% of times, I actually do finish up eating this way. Vegan, that's. However, the label “vegan” omits one essential element of a healthy diet plan: insufficient freedom. I don’t like restriction. I love so that you can choose things i eat with every bite.

In my experience, eating healthily is 2 things:

1) Eating for health

2) Eating for enjoyment

And there’s easily room for both .

For example take my passion for Moe’s nachos. The husband and that i both love Moe’s carryout, and frequently use it on football days, after lengthy journeys, or simply whenever we seem like a goody. There’s nothing beats the scrumptious cheesiness that's Mexican queso, particularly when it’s smothered throughout nachos.

So as i don’t eat cheese regularly , there’s always room for any little queso.

The issue isn’t the cheese, really. The issue is Moe’s has began skimping on their own portions. Whenever you only put lettuce, black beans, and jalapenos in your nachos, you finish up going home having a half-full remove box. No bueno.

The nacho-making isn’t hard part. It’s mastering that gooey, oozy, slightly spicy queso blanco. Well, I’ve finally mastered it.
