Lemon basil grilled chicken recipe

1/2 c. Puritan oil
1/4 c. fresh lemon juice
2 tablespoons of. white-colored-wine vinegar
1 teaspoon. grated lemon peel
2 cloves garlic clove
1/2 teaspoon. salt
1/4 teaspoon. freshly ground pepper
1/2 c. chopped fresh tulsi or 1 tablespoons of. dried tulsi
2 whole chicken breasts, skinned, boned, halved (about 1 1/2 lbs.)

In normal size bowl, combine oil, fresh lemon juice, vinegar, grated lemon peel, garlic clove, salt, pepper and tulsi (makes about 1 cup marinade). Put chicken in shallow baking dish and canopy with marinade. Marinate chicken, turning once, for 30-45 minutes or overnight. Refrigerate until prepared to prepare.

Meanwhile, prepare charcoal for grilling or heat broiler. Grill or broil chicken 4 inches from heat, turning once, until gently browned around the outdoors and merely cooked through, three or four minutes per side. Transfer to serving dish. Garnish with lemon slices and fresh tulsi leaves. TIP: Orange juice and grated orange peel could be substituted with the lemon. Makes 4 servings.
