I chose to make this yesterday, also it switched out great. I'll admit I've been cooking for more than half a century, so possibly a couple of suggestion to individuals who do this after me: #1. Don't come up with chocolate if this's damp or moist. #2 Don't believe in thermometer. I began testing for soft ball stage once the temp was 230, and as it turned out, it had been ready. #3 You ought to have a pan filled with molten gold. I put mine into my glass mixing bowl and beat within the powdered sugar. however i stopped at 1 1/2 cups since it appeared as if it had been thick enough. Affirmed, it setup all right, and it is very sweet. A small piece goes a lengthy way, however it does greatly resemble the See's butterscotch squares in flavor (also my personal favorite). Oh, and #4 Always employ real butter. br/Thank you for a keeper recipe.
Lovely taste and texture. My second attempt for fudge (the very first was gritty with undissolved sugar.) also it went perfectly. I've got a tip not incorporated within the recipe don't scrape the edges when the pot after it boils, the undissolved sugar in the sides may cause all the sugar to crystalize.
Scrumptious! I simply chose to make this Fudge coupled with allow it an instantaneous review. It's my 3rd kind tonight, yet another to visit. Walnut Nut is next, after which I am completed with the Fudge. This Penuche is really good. Arrived on the scene perfect. Not crumbly whatsoever. I could not find my doggone chocolate thermometer, and so i just winged it, also it arrived on the scene fabulous. My personal favorite so far! Greatly suggested.
