Homemade apple crisp recipe easy

Ingredients

  • 10 to 11 cups sliced peeled tart apples
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon, divided
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup quick-cooking oatmeal
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup cold butter, cubed

Directions

  1. Place apples inside a greased 13-in. x 9-in. baking dish. Combine sugar and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon sprinkle within the apples. Combine flour, brown sugar, oatmeal, baking powder, nutmeg and remaining cinnamon decline in butter before the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Sprinkle over apples. Bake at 375 for 50-an hour or until apples are tender. Yield: 12-16 servings.
