Butter Chicken before adding Whipping Cream

What is the replacement for heave whipping cream or will it be prevented if your are diet concious? Just wonderful recipe.

Hi Susmitha,
You could substitute heavy whipping cream (36-38% fat) with the following:-

  1. Light Cream 20% fat content
  2. Single Cream 18% fat content
  3. Half and Half Cream 12% fat
  4. Whipping Cream 30% fat

The gravy can be a little less thicker however the taste will stay the same. So go on and try it out.
Thanks

Whenever I personally use tomato plants inside a recipe, the sour taste sticks out and spoils the entire taste from the recipe. Will 3 tomato plants provide the same sour taste cause butter chicken ought to be little sweet right?

Hi Tina,
Please use ripe tomato plants the great red & juicy ones with this recipe. This way brings the sweetness rather of creating the curry sour. Because we add sugar to butter chicken, that will help with which makes it sweet.
Thanks
Jisha
