How to make masoor dal makhani recipe

Dal Makhani a Punjabi lentil preparation with split black urad dal. A scrumptious creamy dal recipe, dal makhani or ma ki dal is favorite among all.

Ingredients

  • → Red chilly paste 1 Teaspoons.
  • → Eco-friendly chilly 3 Figures.
  • → Ginger root and garlic clove juliennes (each) 2 Figures.
  • → Cumin seeds 1/2 Teaspoons.
  • → Ghee two tablespoons.
  • → Masoor dal (lentil) 1 Cup.
  • → Tomato 3 Figures.
  • → Salt To Taste.
  • → Butter 3 Tablespoons.
  • → Cream two tablespoons.

Directions

  1. First boil the dal with skin on till very soft, Heat ghee inside a pan add cumin seeds, juliennes of ginger root and garlic clove, if this gently saut add chopped onion, eco-friendly chilly, red chilly paste, and tomato, salt, place the lid on and prepare for ten minutes inside a slow flame, add water and cooked lentil, and add butter prepare this dal inside a slow flame for fifteen minutes, adding cream (optional) Serve this hot with chapatti.
