Mix raita recipe in hindi

ingredients (calculating cup used, 1 cup = 250 ml)

  • 1 cup yogurt/curd/dahi, dairy or vegan yogurt
  • 1 promising small to medium carrot, peeled and chopped finely
  • 1 promising small to medium bell pepper (red, orange, yellow or eco-friendly), chopped finely
  • 1 medium cucumber, peeled and chopped finely
  • 1 medium tomato, finely chopped
  • 1 promising small to medium onion, finely chopped (optional)
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper powder
  • ½ teaspoon roasted cumin powder
  • black salt or rock salt as needed

steps to make the recipe:

  1. whisk the yogurt/curd till smooth.
  2. add some spices and salt and blend well.
  3. add some chopped veggies and stir them in to the yogurt.
  4. look into the taste and add a lot of spice powders or salt if needed.
  5. serve the vegetable raita immediately.

if using cashew yogurt, then to obtain a sour style of the yogurt (as cashew yogurt includes a flavor) add teaspoon fresh lemon juice or as needed.
