Ingredients:
- Gram flour - 1 cup (125 grams)
- Powdered sugar - cup (125 grams)
- Desi ghee or vegetable oil - cup (125 grams)
- Baking powder - teaspoon
- Eco-friendly cardamom - 4-5
- Pistachios - 4-5
Steps to make nan khatai without oven in pan
Peel and grind eco-friendly cardamom and thinly slice pistachios. Melt ghee.
Mix gram flour and sugar. Now add baking powder and cardamom powder in it and blend all ingredients completely. Now add melted ghee (melted at 70 degrees) within the mixture with assistance of both hands mix before you get soft dough. Keep 2-3 teaspoon of ghee.
Have a utensil with heavy and plain base and add 300-400 grams salt. Spread it evenly throughout and put a wire or internet stand it the utensil. Cover the utensil and let it warm up at low flame. Meanwhile prepare nankhatai and put them on the plate.
Grease plate with a few ghee. Try taking some quantity of dough and roll passing on a round shape. Now flatten the ball by pressing it lightly together with your palm. Place this on the plate and like wise prepare all nankhatais. Keep your nankhatai at far on plate. Now put the plate or tray around the wire stand stored within the utensil. Cover back the utensil correctly.
Bake nankhatai for fifteen minutes on low flame. Check after fifteen minutes, if it's got puffy and brown from surface which means it’s baked appropriately. Whether it still uncooked then bake it for several-4 more minutes on low flame. Check again, nankhatai has become ready. it requires 15-twenty minutes for baking nankhatai.
When nankhatai will get awesome, separate it in the tray and put in certain other bowl or plate. Mouth drooling and delectable nankhatai is prepared. If this will get awesome completely, store it within an airtight container and revel in eating for up to 2 several weeks.
