It was lots of work, but worthwhile. The flavour was phenomenal! It seemed like it had been a little liquidy, and might have drained the tomato plants and peaches better if instructed. The next time I'll drain them and cut my pieces smaller sized. Great recipe, canned a great deal and husband is going to be happy all winter. Thanks!
Wow! Exactly what a find! I'll do that one over and over, although not liking spicy things, I'll certainly decrease the cayenne and red pepper flakes. With this batch, after i open a jar I'll simply then add corn, a can of black beans, or chopped tomato (or the 3!) to assist using the spiciness. I made use of fresh peaches from the tree within our backyard that's quite prolific this season. Now If only I had not given numerous peaches to buddies and neighbors!
Exactly what a great salsa! It's plenty hot in my mild tastes even lowering the pepper flakes and cayenne, the like the second batch I reduced to at least one teaspoon pepper flakes and 1/2 teaspoon penzeys chipotle which added an excellent smoky flavor. The second batch was still being plenty hot and so i uses less jalapenos the next time. If only I'd bought more peaches because this won't last lengthy. I made 2 batches and both occasions I had been only capable of getting 7 pints exactly. Really worth all of the washing and chopping this recipe may be easily bending inside a stockpot.
