Chili con queso dip recipe velveeta rotel

Hi everybody, a number of you might recall that each occasionally I've shared a couple of Velveeta inspired recipes here on Mommy's Kitchen.

Among five Velveeta Kitchenistas it's my turn again to talk about another tasty recipe. Fall is here now so y'all understand what which means, football!

What goes better with football than Velveeta's Famous Queso Dip . In my opinion queso dip and football go hands in hands.

I do not think there's been a football party which i have attended that did not have this tasty cheesy dip sitting up for grabs.

Things I love most about Queso dip is when versatile it's. You may make it plain with only Velveeta and Ro*tel, or vary things a little with the addition of a couple of additional ingredients.
My personal favorite method to have Queso dip has ended Nachos. I love to create a big slow cooker filled with queso dip.

By doing this everybody can simply serve themselves with all of their most favorite Nacho fixings. Hamburger, fajita meat, beans, jalapenos, lettuce, tomato plants and chili. Velveeta's Queso Dip is really an audience pleaser.

1 lb - (16 oz.) VELVEETA Pasteurized Prepared Cheese, reduce 1/2-inch cubes
1 - (10 oz.) Can RO*TEL Diced Tomato plants Eco-friendly Chilies, undrained

MIX ingredients by 50 percent-qt. microwaveable bowl. MICROWAVE on HIGH 5 min. or until VELVEETA is totally melted, stirring after 3 min.

SERVE with some other cut-up vegetables, WHEAT THINS Original Crackers or tortilla chips.

Queso Dip Varieties:

Meaty Queso Dip. Add browned hamburger, sausage or cooked bacon towards the original queso dip recipe.

Chili Disadvantage Queso: Add one 15 can Hormel, Wolf brand chili or perhaps a can of Chili Beans towards the original queso dip recipe.

Black Bean Queso Dip: Add 1 - 15 oz can black beans, drained and rinsed towards the original queso dip recipe. Leftover Queso Dip can also be great like a topping for baked taters, a creamy sauce for Mexican macaroni and cheese or utilize it like a sauce over enchiladas. This is why this recipe is very versatile.

Love,Love, Love queso - my personal favorite is by using sausage - a lot flavor!

Go Cowboys! This will be our family's favorite football game snack. They are some good add ideas. I'm able to't wait to test it with chili and hamburger. And i believe your daughter did an excellent job assisting you video tape.

I've been causeing this to be because the 70's but still like it!

You may also give a can of cream of mushroom soup also it causes it to be SOOO smooth and creamy!

We Like Velveeta Queso Dip. It had been my personal favorite craving after i was pregnant with my second boy. now that he's grown - I've no excuse with the exception that we like it!

Once more the yumminess of Rotel bakes an amazing dish! What an excellent set Velvetta and Rotel tomato plants make. -)

Great dip that never fails! Thank you for discussing!

This really is nice. good mixture of ingredients!

I've discovered when you set crumbled breakfast sausage, fried and drained, along with a small can of drained mushrooms, it's extra depth and flavor

It is really an absolute FAV at out house! Our most requested add around here's crab meat (real or imitation). It's sooo good along with a success whenever I allow it to be.

An execllent variation :
16 oz Velveta Blanco (white-colored)
1 small 4oz can of diced eco-friendly chiles
2-4 diced pickled jalapenos chopped
1 Tbsp . of jalapeno juice
1/2 cup dairy
1/2 cup cold water
(Optional: dash of cumin, 2tbsp fresh chopped cilantro for garnish)

Throw everything right into a microwaveable bowl and microwave for five minutes stirring after for each minute until its all melted and creamy. Tastes much like my fav Mexican restaurant.

I'm able to never get this to well. I add cream cheese. I add soup. I add milk. It's usually gloppy. Help?

Um Cecilia that sounds so great. I lately saw the queso blanco at Walmart, and so i will purchase one. I really like the white-colored queso at resteraunts. Thank you for discussing.

Stacey to create only the plain queso dip I personally use 16 oz of velveeta, cubed and something can of rotel. Add some juices. Prepare within the microwave or perhaps your crockpot. As it happens perfect everytime. You can view the recording also it demonstrates how easy it's. Best of luck.

@Stacy Don't over think it. whether it's gloppy then your cheese isn't melted yet keep microwaving a min at any given time until it's smooth or keep stirring over mediterranean-low heat inside a pot or slow cooker. Whether it appears just a little thick along with a couple of Tbsp . of milk/water. You may even attempt to stirring having a whisk to assist smooth everything out. (Only a side note: Not every store brand substitutions are produced equal. I've observed by using causeing this to be dip. It's less smooth and creamy. So if you're while using store brand versus Velveeta which may be your trouble. It's well worth the extra $.50) Hope this can help )

I added 1 clove of minced garlic clove, 1/2 Teaspoon, for this also it was amazing. Great recipe.

As the second poster stated, we add crabmeat too. I actually do drain the rotel when adding sea food. Shrimp, crab and lobster work nicely when adding at the start inside a crockpot.
If you wish to add bay scallops (the small ones).
Add them about ten minutes before serving. They get rubbery otherwise.
You may also add mussels and clams deshelled obviously.

In regards to a tablespoon of cocktail sauce is a superb addition using the sea food. So we always double the amount recipe (32oz velveeta + 2 cans of rotel drained)!

This can be a favorite around our household
Thanks

Cecelia I'm wondering should you drain the eco-friendly chilles for that white-colored queso?

Has anybody been effective at adding cream cheese to queso Blanco.
