fifth Annual Boston Chili Cup Recap

This season marked Ned Devine’s fifth Annual Chili Cup! Should you’ve ever attended the Chili Cup previously, then you definitely’d agree that it's not really a night to pass through up. Each year Corona, Ned Devine’s and Faneuil Hall Marketplace host an amiable chili competition to advertise local restaurants as well as other breweries. The night time incorporated a chili tasting from over 20 local restaurants with live music from guitarist Ryan Brooks Kelly!

This year's proceeds were donated to Community Work Services, a company that provides job training and assistance for individuals looking for employment. Their culinary program produced a unique reindeer sausage chili for that evening which was a large hit!

Bambara restaurant required home the trophy this season while our recipe at Pier 6 would be a success! Chef Reeves created a creative and meaty Wild Boar Chili. The recipe incorporated braised and shredded boar shoulder, black beans, poblano and jalapeo peppers, cacao powder, and occasional garnished with cheddar, sour cream, and pepperoncini.
