They are great sticks. When i first discovered these sticks in one of my personal favorite drummers, and so i figured I'd try them out and find out what some most people are having fun with. When I selected up these sticks I understood I had been set for a workout.
These are perfect for practicing and starting to warm up. They are thick and high enough to really make it seem like you are working, although not excessively cumbersome for many, or else you wouldn't have the ability to rely on them. I have not used at all them for marching, but I am used them for practice and starting to warm up on the practice pad as well as for using my regular package.
These serve you for a while, and that i hit pretty hard. Used to do just break my first pair, though. I have since purchased two more. Certainly a useful investment.

Very Durable Sticks, Worthwhile.
The Alco Snare line switched to those from your usual Innovate Percs. These sticks feel happy, and therefore are very durable. Two pairs lasted us a season, when compared with 1 set of I.P's. Read complete review
The Alco Snare line switched to those from your usual Innovate Percs. These sticks feel happy, and therefore are very durable. Two pairs lasted us a season, when compared with 1 set of I.P's per week. They're a little shorter, and also have excelent reaction to kevlar heads.

Should you hit hard or simply desire a great workout stick, buy the product! I apply it everything, practice, marching snare, and package.
Perfect Stick -- should you roll this stick on the flat working surface, it'll roll straight and there won't be any wobble within the stick whatsoever. (This is actually the situation for those Vic Firth products however)
Weight - Consistently between 3.5 ounces and 4.1 ounces. Mostly 3.8 ounces.
I've been utilizing a pair for six several weeks (I most likely rimshot 10000 occasions each day being completely serious) and they've only began to shave where I rimshot. I expect they'll last another 6 several weeks or longer.
As stated above, they last forever.
Great Sticks For Practicing!
Comments about Vic Firth Corpsmaster MS4 StaPac Snare Drumsticks :
I acquired these sticks not long ago. I do not utilize them for not practicing. I would not use them on the drum kit (clearly because they are marching sticks), or perhaps concert percussion. For me, they are too nice of stays with bang on a marching snare or practicing on the floor at outside band rehearsals. These sticks are created to be heavy. And that's why they're so excellent for practicing. I love to utilize them for building my single stroke speed, or perhaps doubles or tripples. They are heavier than most marching sticks. Your forearms Is going to be sore after with such if you're not accustomed to playing fast for extended amounts of time. Great sticks. Highly suggested.
