- 2 (1/2-inch) slices sourdough or French bread
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
- 1 large egg
- 2 slices Canadian bacon
- 1/3 cup shredded Swiss cheese
- 1 teaspoon honey mustard
Directions
Cut a couple 1/2-inch hole from the middle of one slice from the bread. Melt butter inside a medium nonstick skillet over medium-low heat. If this foams, put the cut slice of bread and also the round in skillet and toast gently, about one minute.
Crack the egg in to the hole and season with pepper and salt, and prepare until golden brown, a couple of minutes.
Switch the egg bread, sprinkle 1 / 2 of the cheese on bread and top with pork. Spread mustard on second bit of bread and shut sandwich. Prepare until well browned and bottom level of cheese starts to melt, about one minute more. Switch whole sandwich and prepare until all cheese is melted, about two to three minutes more. Serve.
