These Dieters brownies are scrumptious! The right low-fat dessert or guilt-free treat having a cuppa. These brownies are simple to make and attractive too. These Dieters brownies are sweetened with apple sauce and flavoured with cacao powder, which makes them a large treat with little calories. This recipe makes 12 generous sized brownies. To create a batch of brownies it will require 40 mins to organize and prepare. Sunflower oil and apple sauce make these brownies reduced fat and sugar. Give a wealthy chocolate flavour and also you've got one scrumptious batch of brownies. Nobody is ever going to know they're guilt-free!

Ingredients
- Low-fat cooking spray
- 75g (2 3/4oz) self raising flour
- 50g (1 3/4oz) unsweetened cacao powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 large egg
- 2 egg-whites
- 175g (6oz) caster sugar
- 6 tablespoons of unsweetened apple sauce
- 2 tablespoons of sunflour oil
- 2 teaspoon vanilla essence
- 15g (1/2oz) chopped walnuts
Method
- Preheat the oven to Gas Mark 4/180oc/fan oven 160oc. Spray a 20cm (8 inch) square non-stick baking pan using the low-fat cooking spray.
- Inside a medium bowl, combine the flour, cacao powder and salt, stirring together to combine.
- Inside a large mixing bowl, whisk together the egg, egg-whites, sugar, apple sauce, oil and vanilla essence.
- Add some flour mixture towards the egg mixture, stirring until just blended. Try not to over mix, or even the brownies won't rise.
- Transfer the wedding cake mixture towards the baking pan and sprinkle using the walnuts.
- Bake within the center from the oven until just set- about 25 mins. A toothpick or skewer placed within the center from the cake may come out clean.
- Awesome within the tin for 15 mins, then reduce 12 rectangles.
