Works of art could be crafted with any colour of made of woll. The colour of made of woll used doesn't influence the image selected once the painting is positioned.
Breaking Edit
To get rid of a painting from the wall, attack it, break certainly one of its supporting blocks, cover one square from it having a block, hit it having a fire charge or subject it for an explosion. The painting will drop being an item.
The painting may also be damaged if hit by an arrow, egg, ender gem or snowball, but it'll not drop being an item. Arrows that hit works of art will appear reduced.
Placement Edit
Works of art can be put around the sides of solid blocks. There are many various sizes of painting (see below), so when placed, a painting that matches the accessible surfaces is at random selected.

All works of art bigger than 11 will extend upwards and right of in which the player placed them. If your painting is more than 2 blocks high, it'll start one block below in which the player places it, before extending upward.
