Ingredients
- 2 c. old-fashioned oatmeal
- ¾ c. toasted wheat germ
- ¾ c. chopped walnuts
- ¾ c. dried cranberries
- 2 tablespoons of. packed light brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon. ground cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon. salt
- ½ c. honey
- ½ c. vegetable oil
- 2 large egg-whites
Directions
- Preheat oven to 325 levels F. Spray 13" by 9" metal baking pan with nonstick cooking spray. Line pan with foil, with ends extending 2 " over short sides of pan spray foil.
- In glass cake plate, spread oatmeal microwave on High, in 1-minute increments, four to five minutes or until aromatic and golden, stirring from time to time. Awesome to 70 degrees.
- In large bowl, combine oatmeal, wheat germ, walnuts, cranberries, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Stir in honey, oil, and egg-whites until well mixed. Transfer to prepared pan. Using wet hands, press into even layer.
- Bake 32 to 35 minutes or until dark golden. Awesome in pan on wire rack.
- When awesome, use foil to transfer to cutting board. Cut lengthwise into 6 strips, then cut each strip crosswise into thirds. (You ought to have roughly 4 1/4" by 1 1/2" bars.) Store in tightly sealed container at 70 degrees as much as 7 days, or perhaps in freezer as much as 30 days.
