I really like kothamalli podi the very best of all podi varieties&....When we mix this with hot fluffy grain and sesame oil and also have one sutta appalam by side&.... not like. Irrrve never chose to make this after my marriage,then when my mother visited my place,I noted lower the recipe making. My husband and me love this particular a great deal,particularly whenever we have grain for supper.

Ingredients
Dhaniya (vara kothamalli) - 3/4 cup
Red chili - 2 nos.
Pepper - 2 teaspoon
Jeera - 1 teaspoon
Garlic clove flakes - 2-3
Salt - To taste
Method
- Dry roast Dhaniya till nice aroma increases,it shouldn't be burnt,but roasted evenly till it starts browning.
- Roast red chili,pepper and jeera individually and awesome lower everything.
- Grind all of the roasted products together with salt and add some garlic clove run the mixer a couple of times.
- Store within an airtight container,may use for any month even if stored within the shelf temperature.
