Ideas have our buddy Duke Degen giving us a fast product review for that Orangatang Balut longboard wheels. The Baluts are 72.5mm across and are available in three different hardnesses, each having a different durometer. We tested the Oranges (80a) and Purples (83a) extensively and also got our groove up with greater Yellows (86a) too. We found the wheels to become surprisingly enjoyable for low speed slides in addition to being very fun for freestyle flippity-do's. The big, centerset core provides them a good structure and feel, therefore the wheels ride slightly harder than what you are able expect. You shouldn't be afraid to step lower in hardness from what you are accustomed to. Lastly, even though the Baluts don't appear to possess a large amount of urethane, they in some way continue for a significant lengthy time.
