- 1 kilo beef brisket or reduce cubes
- 150 grams tamarind fruit (or 1 pack Sinigang sa Sampalok mix)
- 1 bunch kangkong, wash and obtain the leaves only
- 1 pc. radish
- 1 bunch string beans
- 3 computers. siling haba or eco-friendly chili
- 250 grams taro root or gabi
- 2 medium size tomato plants, chopped
- 1 large red onion, quartered
- salt and patis
How you can prepare Sinigang na Baka sa Sampalok:
- Boil the tamarind inside a pot with water, about 3 cups, adjust if required. Prepare before the tamarind becomes tender.
- Take away the tamarind in the pot and transfer to some bowl then mash it having a fork before the juices arrives.
- Then place it again who are holding cards and stir. Strain the items in the pot having a colander and pour it a another container to obtain the broth in the tamarind. Press it before the juices happen to be extracted.
- In another pot boil the beef for around a few minutes. Take away the liquid and scum then wash the meat.
- Then switch the water by filling the pot sufficient to pay for the meat.
- Boil before the meat is cooked and tender.
- Include the salt, onion, tomato plants and gabi. Boil before the gabi is cooked.
- Adding within the string beans and radish. Simmer for around 3 minutes.
- Pour the tamarind broth (or you aren't able to find tamarind, use sinigang mix), kangkong leaves and eco-friendly chili.
- Season with salt or fish sauce (patis) and serve hot.
