This can be a light and fresh recipe. Baked Cod with Mustard Marinade constitutes a wonderful dinner offered having a side of steamed vegetables. Any firm, white-colored fish fillets could be substituted with cod.
Ingredients
- 1-1/2 pounds of cod
- 1/2 cup of smooth or coarse Dijon mustard
- 1/3 cup of freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon of dried thyme
- 1-2 teaspoons of prepared horseradish
- 2 teaspoons of grated lemon peel
- 1/4 teaspoon of ground pepper
Directions
- Preheat your oven to 400 levels.
- Rinse and dry the fish and put the fillets skin-side lower inside a gently oiled baking pan.
- Whisk all of the remaining ingredients together in a tiny mixing bowl, or using a small mixer.
- Pour the marinade within the fish, turning the fillets to coat each side. Put aside within the refrigerator for 25-an hour.
- Put the baking pan, uncovered, within the oven and bake for 10-fifteen minutes, or before the fish is tender and flakes having a fork.
