I increased up loving Breakfast Treats. They'd an easy crisp texture, a enjoyable, light flavor, not very sweet and never too bland. It had been perfect. These were scrumptious straight from the package (my personal favorite, nice crisp), dunked in milk, or with tea. I observed in the last few years they taste various and are not as easy compared to what they was once.
I have also observed less number of Stella D'oro products. I have resided in NY my whole existence and SD was always on store shelves. A couple of of my family's old favorites aren't available. There was once several good cookies. The Anginettis, Angel Wings, Swiss Fudge, Christmas variety box. I do not see these in shops. Angel Wings are listed online, however i haven't seen them recently. My second favorite towards the Breakfast Treats, the Pfeffernusse, was just available during christmas, such as the variety box. I anticipated getting two or three packages every December. It's gone, too.
It appears they have cut lower to 4 cookie varities, 3 Breakfast Treat flavors, and several kinds of biscotti and toasts. I do not like biscotti or toasts much, and those I see from SD look hard and dry. They still make breadsticks, but they're very difficult to chew. My mother accustomed to love them but she does not purchase them any longer. We accustomed to like to see the SD displays, now I simply look into them and think how boring it appears and go going.
Apparently the organization was offered to Nabisco a long time ago, then offered to Lance 24 months ago, making Archway. Sorry but I don't like Archway cookies. A minimum of Nabisco stored the Breakfast Treats along with other products how they have been within the 80s. Until about five years ago once the products were coming unusally dark/overcooked. The factory moved, and recipes altered to inferior versions from the originals. Very disappointing.
The brand new Breakfast Treats aren't awful, you will find much worse cookies available than the others. They're okay, this is exactly why I am passing on 2 stars instead of 1. But there's a really noticeable, uncomfortable difference when compared to ones before. They taste cheaper, possess a different texture, and therefore are most likely created using cheaper ingredients. Of all the Stella D'oro products still available, fundamental essentials only ones I'd buy basically desire a cookie that's such as the old Breakfast Treats. But that's unusual. I do not like investing in products which have been degraded.
Please restore that old recipe. It had been perfect.

Loved the product since i have was little. They are my weakness. So great with coffee, hot cocoa, simply milk. Even simply by themselves. Too good, it's sinful. Beware, you will get addicted. However this cookie, I have always known as them "S" cookies, will place a smile in your face as well as in your belly. Love them.

Total regret and waste of my money

After polishing off my order I've greatly altered my estimation on these. They are to date from the things they was once it isn't a comparison anymore. These use to be the soft,side although not to soft. The feel alone made you would like more. These take a look at plain hard and crumbly and,a,complete waste of my money. Contacting the customer to join up a complaint is not even possible so drop the idea of.

I increased in Pennsylvania and gone to live in Texas 11 years back plus they don't auction them here. I purchased a box a couple of days ago and today I want, yes, Have to buy a different one! They're perfect with coffee, with TV, using the internet. they're always beneficial! There are found them where you reside, then purchase them here. It is the least expensive cost outdoors of getting someone from home send these to you!

It had been so excellent to locate these again! They're every bit as good when i remember, and thus grateful to locate a spot to have them, because they are unavailable in your area. Worth the expense for shipping!

They are my scrumptious breakfast. Only issue is I eat them as well fast and also have to reorder too early, however i am glad which i found a souce because they are unavailable in almost any stores within east Kansas.

S Cookies Finally

These were wonderful. Cannot find the product where Now i live. For some time these were available however they aren't. These were fresh and packed to prevent breaking and my whole family was happy to ask them to again. Is going to be reordering soon.

taste much like I recall

Love, love, loved for a long time, just could not locate them. So great dunked in coffee, but you need to be quick or they'll plop inside your cup. Needed to buy 6 packages but no problem, expiration date April 2015 and free delivery. Packed well so minimal breakage.

Revives recollections of my childhood. So sorry they aren't in current production. Understand why vendor priceing the accessible stock more reasonably than other vendors of other Stella D'Oro.

I love this option they are simple to carry to operate in order to have breakfast or perhaps a not very heavy treat within the mid-day they're slightly sweet having a hint of vanilla and therefore are only 90 calories too!
