Hey sweet buddies! We’re around the second week here and ohmiword&...exhaustion doesn’t even Start to pay for it :) I’m LOVING my type of 21 littles&...they’re PRECIOUS. And filled with spunk.
Our first day would be a total BLUR. The only real factor I recall is our annual first day flag raising&...which’s only since i have images of it! HA! No really, it had been hot as crime outdoors&...also it was just 8:30&...to ensure that’s just a little difficult to forget :) This is among my personal favorite little school traditions. The college’s namesake arrives to state a couple of words to everybody&....our principal states a couple of things too&...there’s a grade level roll call with loud cheers all the children teachers&...the boy scouts enhance the flag&....we are saying the pledge&...therefore we mind back inside to begin the entire year :)
Whenever we weren’t speaking rules and practicing procedures, i was involved in fun first week activities from Abby’s Fun With Firsties Unit . A lot fun! Hands lower, my children’ favorite activity was Jitter Juice. SO yummy!
We made the most adorable very little time capsules. The children LOVED that one! We placed dated their itty handprints, measured their height with yarn, therefore we had them complete just a little first day info sheet using their self portrait around the back.
We folded ‘em, wrapped ‘em in tissue paper, and gave all of them &"Don't Open ‘til June 2011&" labels. Other family members . of faculty, we’ll open our time capsules and also have the kids do the very same activity!! It’ll be a lot fun to determine just how much they grow and alter this season!!

I had been terrible about documenting a few days’s occasions, but honestly&...I had been too busy to capture any Kodak moments anyway. I understand y’all know precisely things i’m talkin’ about! The highlight of my week was this gorgeous arrangement from Mr. Spouse. That sweet man performs this every.dang.year and each year it surprises the gravy from me. Love that man.
Basically wasn’t so tired, I’d not sleep to talk about more :) It’s bed-thirty and that i’ve gotta get some rest before certainly one of my boys decides to awaken 5 occasions in the center of the night time. It’s inevitable. Each time I Want sleep, I’m up ALL dang night chasing monsters from closets and scaring away the boogeyman. Dangit.
