Chose to make this recipe, it arrived on the scene scrumptious. Used to do change it out a little. I caramelized an entire onion with butter and pork fat then place it towards the bottom of slow cooker. I covered the pork roast with flour and browned it inside a pan with butter and essential olive oil, then once it has been browned I place over caramelized onions within the slow cooker. I add some juice from pan and remainder of ingredients. Prepare as recipe suggests.
I made gravy using a sauce pan and adding about 4 tablespoons of. flour, onion powder, garlic clove powder and Italian seasoning. I whisked in pot a couple of minutes then added the broth from slow cooker. Added salt to taste.

Excellent, easy. Overlooked Worcestershire sauce. Still scrumptious. Replaces a packet I did previously use until I just read the label - yucky ingredients. My entire family loved this! Simple to make leftover lunches with too.
