This really is essentially the way i fix my instant mashed taters except I won't use margarine as it is hydrogenated oil. I personally use Idahoan Mash Potato Flakes the best idea available on the market. So how will you compare individuals nasty tasting KFC mash taters using these? Should you ever attempted that garbage that KFC creates you'd haven't attempt to pass off good tasting mash taters for KFC mash taters. Taste like KFC puts canned evaporated milk in their own and that i know a lady who puts the product in hers. Hers taste just like nasty. If you want mash taters that taste like KFC, don't use fresh milk but canned evaporated milk and you'll have the awful taste of KFC mash taters. Don't misunderstand me, I fix lots of dishes using canned evaporated milk but mash taters isn't one of these.
If you're searching for KFC taters. these aren't it. unfortunately. My 11 yo loves KFC, and that i have attempted different variations to duplicate KFC. I must accept LawyerMom. Required to add extra milk to obtain these from being stiff and clumped. Only difference may be the copious quantity of margerine & butter. I believe taters might have sampled better using these 2 ingredients added following the formation from the taters and never steamed within the water. On continues the KFC potato search!
