Bihari Boti Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 kg Undercut steak pieces
- 100 gm Yogurt
- 3 tablespoons of Papaya paste
- 1 Onion, fried and ground
- 2 tablespoons of ginger root paste
- 2 tablespoons of garlic clove paste
- 1 teaspoon Red chili, crushed
- 1 teaspoon Hot spices powder
- teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 4 tablespoons of Bengal grams, Roasted and ground
- 4 tablespoons of Mustard oil
- Salt to taste
Cooking Method
- Marinate the bits of steak with papaya paste not less than 4 hrs.
- Adding turmeric powder, ginger root/garlic clove paste, onion, yogurt, mustard oil, hot spices powder, cumin seeds, red chilies, grams and salt within the steak pieces and blend them well.
- After one hour, use them skewers and prepare on them coal, steam and fry them.
- You may also prepare them in oven.
- For garnishing use sliced lemons, coriander leaves, eco-friendly chillies and sliced onion.
- Serve the luscious Bihari boti with roti, salad, raita and mint chutney.
