I began liking godhuma rava upma after I began cooking. Now diet program my loved ones people don’t prefer godhuma rava upma. To begin with upma is not preferred, which is the same. After I ate this upma within my school days inside a Bhajan visit to trichy within an ashram also it sampled very flavourful. Whenever Personally i think like getting some filling breakfast, I get this to wheat rava upma. Vj wants it combined with curd and sugar. This can be a very healthy and flavourful south Indian breakfast recipe.

Ingredients
Wheat rava (roasted) 1 cup
Eco-friendly chilli 4
Chopped carrot, eco-friendly peas 1/2 cup
Water 3 cups
Salt When needed
To temper
Mustard 3/4 teaspoon
Urad dal 2 teaspoon
Channa dal 1 tablespoons of
Oil 2 tablespoons of
Curry leaves - 1 sprig
Method
- Fry the rava in medium flame for just two minutes having a teaspoon of oil if it is not roasted rava. This really is optional too, I do not roast, still love the aroma. Heat the kadai/pan with oil and temper with mustard,urad dal,channa dal. Add some curry leaves,adopted by slit eco-friendly chillies and chopped onion and fry till onion just turns transparent.
- Add some veggies and fry for 2 minutes in medium low flame. Add water. Provide boil.
- After it boils, add some wheat rava slowly and gradually inside a sprinkled way. Stir well.
- Add salt and allow it to boil in high flame before the water content reduces and also the mixture turns like porridge consistency.
- Now simmer the flame to low and prepare covered for ten minutes or till all of the water is absorbed and you receive a soft upma. You can include a teaspoon of coconut oil at finish for any unique flavour!
Notes
- Adding a teaspoon of coconut oil or ghee for the finish improves the flavour.
- I made use of frozen peas. You should use fresh. You may make without veggies, but adds diet.
- If you would like more softer upma, you can include 1/2 cup more water.
- You can include a teaspoon of finely chopped ginger root together with eco-friendly chilli.
