1. Dice a little onion and fry inside a pot with butter until translucent.
2. Add 1 lb of hamburger and brown along with some pepper and salt.
3. Add four to five taters in small cubes and fill the pot midway with water (a minimum of four to five cups).
4. Add about 50 % a mug of soy sauce, just a little at any given time, and taste along the way to ensure that it isn't too salty
5. Prepare over medium heat until taters are cooked.
6. For the finish, mix a couple of tablespoons corn starch along with some water inside a bowl to ensure that it's almost the consistency water.
7. Bring the stew to some boil and add some starch while stirring rapidly to not make protuberances. This can thicken the stew.
8. Switch off the stew, increase the pepper and salt to taste and voila! It’s done.
