
I have attempted several Maid-Rite recipes and also to me this is actually the nearest towards the real factor. My first Maid-Rite sandwich was at Marshalltown, Iowa after i would be a youthful girl 3 decades ago which is just how I eat them today (mustard, onion, pickles with no ketchup) whenever I get them organized from your local Maid-Rite restuarant. Scrumptious! They were so easy and really were scrumptious. I adopted the recipe, except I added a little bit of dry mustard towards the beef mixture and used garlic clove salt rather of standard salt. I did not think my hubby, who's from Iowa, could be too looking forward to dinner but he raved! The meat was very tender, because of the simmering to have an hour. Tasty, easy and a household pleaser. My personal favorite type of recipe!

My Sister owned a Maid Rite within the Quad Metropolitan areas and that i Guarantee there wasn't any Coca Cola for the reason that bottle you saw them flowing in. It's a very gaurded recipe and I have sampled the contents from that bottle you make reference to. It tastes Nothing beats Coke or Cola. There's no found onion or pepper within the original recipe either. Since she no more owns the franchise, even she can't duplicate the precise taste.
