Filipino spare ribs casserole recipe

From some healthy recipe articles to some opposite one. Yes, my blog cannot resist salty and oily food :) So, to fulfill my husband's and my cravings, Adobo, "Pinoys' national food" is only the perfect choice.

I understand I've published several adobo recipes within my blog but there's always an area for additional! This straightforward along with a sure Pinoy crowd favorite is certainly essential try! I enjoy eat it with grain using my hands. It is extremely untidy food to savor, but indeed well worth the effort.

I have used pork during this dish, but as everyone knows, adobo isn't just limited with pork beef, chicken and sea food may also be cooked by doing this.

  • 1 kg pork spare ribs, cut
  • 1 onion, minced
  • 7 cloves garlic clove, minced
  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon of chili flakes
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • oil
  1. Marinate not less than one hour the spare ribs with soy sauce, vinegar, pepper and chili flakes. Put aside.
  2. Inside a casserole, saute garlic clove and onion in oil.
  3. Add pork spareribs and allow it to gently fry.
  4. Add some marinade and water. Allow it to simmer inside a medium heat until meat is nearly tender.
  5. Add sugar. Allow it to still simmer before the liquid is nearly dry.
  6. Serve with grain. Enjoy!
