Introduction

The tub "snowballs" could be tinted any color. You will need three or four days to help make the bath balls due to the drying time between steps. Makes 2 large or 4 small balls.

To package the tub snowballs as a present, make use of a glass kitchen canister to provide the tub balls, that the recipient may then visible on a conceit. Wrap the jar with ribbon, tying a bow at the very top, and give a vellum gift tag threaded with cord inside a matching color.

materials

2 cups Epsom salts

two tablespoons water

A couple of drops acrylic(s)

1 drop food coloring, plus much more if preferred

Special equipment: plastic pipette, small or large round bath-ball molds, storage jars

Stir together Epsom salts and water inside a mixing bowl. Using pipette, add oil, 1 drop at any given time, until strength of scent is the way you like. Add food coloring, 1 drop at any given time, until preferred shade is achieved stir until color is even throughout.

Spoon an ample quantity of mixture (greater than necessary) into 1/2 of the bath-ball mold. Pack firmly. Repeat, packing mixture into other half of mold. Press pieces together until they connect. Remove top 1 / 2 of mold cautiously. Let bath ball stand, mold side lower, overnight (set ball with an overturned jar lid to help keep it from tipping over).

Remove mold carefully. Invert, and let ball dry completely, two to three days more. Transfer to jars.
