- 2 medium-small firm bananas, peeled
- 1/2 tablespoon butter
- 3 tablespoons light brown sugar
- 1/4 cup dark rum, or orange juice
- 1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 cup low-fat vanilla frozen treats, or frozen yogurt
Preparation
15 m- Cut bananas in two lengthwise. Melt butter inside a nonstick skillet over medium-high temperature. Add brown sugar and lay the blueberry slices on the top, cut side up. Prepare undisturbed for 25 seconds, adding rum (or orange juice) and cinnamon. Prepare for ten seconds, then turn bananas carefully and prepare for 45 to a minute more, basting using the pan sauce. Divide the bananas between 2 dessert plates, drizzling the sauce on the top. Serve immediately, having a scoop of frozen treats (or frozen yogurt).
