Ingredients

  • 1 cup golden raisins
  • 1 cup chopped dates
  • 1 cup chopped mixed candied fruit
  • 1/4 cup any fruit juice
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla flavoring
  • 1 teaspoon grated orange peel
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1-1/2 cups chopped walnuts

Directions

  1. Inside a large bowl, combine the very first four ingredients put aside. Inside a large bowl, beat the eggs, sugar, vanilla and orange peel until blended. Combine flour and salt progressively increase sugar mixture until well combined. Stir in walnuts and also the reserved fruit mixture.
