Yema recipe tagalog version of bible

Woohooo I’m back. It’s been some time since i have did a publish. I had been on holidays in sunny North Queensland. I'll publish several photos up within the next couple of days.

I needed to talk about another Filipino favourite of mine. They're known as Yema Balls. Yema is really Dulce De Leche having a twist. Like every other Filipino recipe, everybody has their very own form of this.

This version originated from my cousin Ping. She's an incredible prepare and try to provides me with great recipes to test. She is filled with details about traditional Filipino recipes.

1 can sweetened condensed milk

4 egg yolks
1 tablespoon of butter
½ cup of nuts - pistachios or roasted peanuts perform best (optional)
¾ cup of white-colored sugar
Paper pattie pans

1. Inside a saucepan on medium heat, melt butter. Add condensed milk and stir for any one minute.
2. Add egg yolks and stir. Make certain that you simply keep close track of this, otherwise it'll burn.
3. When the egg yolk is incorporated add some nuts. (I did not use nuts within this recipe)
4. Keep stirring before the yema is thick. Similar to a paste.
5. Take this from the heat and permit this to awesome. If this is cooled shape into balls and roll in sugar.
6. Serve the yema balls in paper pattie pans.

Rather of moving the yema balls in sugar you are able to dip it in caramel. Combine sugar and water together inside a pan and taking advantage of a thermometre go to the hard ball stage. Having a tooth pick dip each yema ball in to the caramel and use it wax paper.
