Moriyo recipe by bhavna pandey


Moriyo is also referred to as Samo. We usually eat this while fasting. Moriyo is light and healthy. This is ideal for dieting. It's lower in calorie and contains no cholesterol. There are plenty of the way to create this, for example khichdi, poppadum, puri, as well as shira.

I usually like fresh herbs within my food, because they help slim down too. I made use of fresh mint leaves within this dish. Mint gives perfume and flavor towards the dish.

Ingredients:-

  • 1 cup Moriyo
  • 3 Eco-friendly Chili, chopped
  • 2 Garlic clove Cloves, chopped
  • 3 Cups Water
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ginger root, grated
  • 1 teaspoon Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin Seeds
  • Fresh Mint Leaves, chopped
  • Pepper to taste, ground
  • Salt to taste

Method:-

1. Heat oil in deep vessel.

2. Add cumin seeds. When linked with emotions . brown, add garlic clove, ginger root, and eco-friendly chili.

3. Saut for 1-2 minutes. Add moriyo and toast for any minute.

4. Add salt and tepid to warm water in to the vessel and stir well.

5. Cover with lid and prepare until moriyo is cooked and creamy.

6. Serve hot with mint leaves and yogurt.
