Bug Repellent
Thyme - 4 drops
Lemongrass- 8 drops
Lavender - 4 drops
Peppermint - 4 drops

Recently we spoken about using essential oils to help keep bugs and insects away and from you you.
This month we're speaking about keeping them from your plants. Since essential oils originate from plants they all are natural and won't harm your flowers or vegetables.
They will assist you to keep individuals nasty little unwanted pests from your plants though and don' injury to the atmosphere.
Should you house or garden vegetation is infested with insects and you want to discourage them naturally. There are many essential oils which will work.
Sandalwood, Thyme, Lavender, Fennel, Peppermint, Spearmint, Cinnamon, Coriander and Clove bud.

Within their book 500 Formulas for Aroma therapy, they recommend making some misting sprays for use a couple of days apart to rid your plants of insect infestations. One easy blend to spray in your plants is
Sage - 45 drops
Thyme - 45 drops and
4 ounces sterilized water.
Shake well and spray in your infected plants.
Another blend is
Lavender - 50 drops and
Fennel - 40 drops again in
4 ounces water.
Shake well and spray.
Useful Hint:
To help keep bugs along with other insects that crawl from entering your house, make sure to spray a combination of Peppermint acrylic and sterilized water around home windows and screens as well as on the brink of the door entrances.
Peppermint may also deter individuals little furry creatures rodents and moles from entering the house.
