Wealthy Cheese, couple of slices
Toast
Mustard
Pepper
Cut some nice wealthy seem cheese into rather thin slices.
Melt inside a cheese toaster on the hot plate or higher steam.
When melted, give a small volume of mixed mustard along with a seasoning of pepper.
Stir the cheese until it's totally dissolved.
Brown it prior to the heat or having a salamander.
Fill the foot of the cheese toaster with warm water and serve with dry or buttered toasts, whichever might be preferred.

A little volume of porter or port wine, may also be combined with the cheese, and when it's not so wealthy, a couple of bits of butter might be combined with it to advantage.
