Nut and bolts recipe nutrigrain

Nut and bolts recipe nutrigrain

My grandfather makes this recipe at Christmas, so for me personally it belongs to that bundle of food associations which make this season particularly special. However, this season he’s been just a little unwell, so didn’t have enough time to help make the stuff. He normally produces enough Basics to feel a little nation, and provides gifts from the savoury snack to each member of the family. The dining room table wouldn’t happen to be exactly the same this season without them, and so i designed a quick batch. It's deliciously more-ant!

Ingredients

250g dry-roasted peanuts, unsalted
300g Kellogg’s Nutri-Grain (fundamental essentials &"bolts&")

1/2 cup (125mL) of sunshine oil (preferably peanut oil)
45g packet of French Onion Soup mix
1 tablespoon of curry powder
1 teaspoon of mustard powder

Method

Heat the oven to 180 levels Celcius.

Mix together all of the dry ingredients inside a large mixing bowl.

Warm oil in microwave, for instance, on High setting for thirty seconds, then pour within the dry ingredients and blend well.

Spread this mixture across a sizable, flat baking dish and set in to the oven for 15-twenty minutes, removing to stir every a few minutes approximately. The end result need to look dry and smell very aromatic.

Remove in the oven and permit to awesome before eating. Must be kept in an aura-tight container.

This recipe is definitely adaptable to taste, e.g. use pretty much Nutri-Grain, nuts, curry or mustard as the taste dictates.

Makes enough Basics to fill a 2L container. Best eaten before first The month of january.
